That’s why we’re committed to not only making sure LA Photo Party complies with the upcoming Global Data Protection Regulation, but that everyone that uses our booths, software, or event services has the tools to do so as well.
What is GDPR?
The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a wide-sweeping regulation intended to protect all EU citizens from privacy and data breaches. LAPP and GDPR
At LA Photo Party, we handle a myriad of client data, as well as build tools that are designed to handle client data. Since images can fall under the scope of personal data, it’s safe to say we have a lot of data to protect. Here are some of the ways we’re making sure every time you use an LA Photo Party product or service, you’re compliant with GDPR:

- Ability to customize disclaimers. Including multiple, discreet opt-ins (specifically required by GDPR), and logic based on guests input.
- Access Control through an option to create a secondary password for attendants to access event settings on-site, but not have access to user data.
- Coming Soon: Automated portals for guests to be able to search for their personal data, and if requested, delete it.
